MediCapture will be honored at the 2008 Philadelphia 100 Awards Dinner and Ceremony, held on Wednesday, October 22 at the Sheraton Philadelphia Hotel. This year’s ceremonies will be hosted by the Philadelphia Business Journal, the Wharton SBDC, and the Entrepreneur’s Forum of Greater Philadelphia.

We analyzed the causes and found that many clinics and hospitals were daunted by the costs and complexities of installing large, enterprise-level imaging systems, and we decided the medical market was ready for a simple, low-cost alternative. Our design team came up with a unique solid-state recording device that has now become a de facto standard in the medical industry for both stand-alone and board-level solutions. Although we anticipated a ready market, we were delighted when we found we could barely keep up with the high level of demand which has lead to our continued strong growth.”
